Karina Fabi holds a degree in International Relations from the Universidad Siglo 21, Argentina, with a financial orientation. She continued her postgraduate studies in Brazil with an economic orientation. In 2006, she began her preparation in capital markets with the classic trading schools in a self-taught manner. That same year, she resided in the United States. By then, she was already making a living from trading, specializing in the foreign exchange market. Macroeconomic conditions had been changing since then, and due to a lack of knowledge and experience, she had her first big loss, which forced her to start over. The decision at that time was not to give up, quite the opposite. She wanted to do it better and well. She had the opportunity to start in New York City and began working at a hedge fund, which she merged with in 2008. She returned to Latin America and in 2014 founded watchMyTrading.

Her investing.com column has been running for more than six years and is the only one referring to price action in Latin America. Her YouTube channel contains thousands of free courses that you can access to get started. In 2024 she was voted the best market analyst of the year by the Wealth Expo Colombia.
