Eczellon Capital limited operates the business of investment banking, focusing on Corporate Finance and Advisory Services. The firm is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria to operate as an Issuing House. It provides services spanning capital markets, financial advisory, business advisory, structured finance, alternative products and principal investments. Eczellon Capital has worked with corporations and other private sector clients in key sectors of the Nigerian, West and East African markets in capacities such as transaction advisors for the establishment of greenfield power generation; financial advisors and lead capital arrangers for oil & gas asset acquisitions; and implementation. The firm has advised on Mergers and Acquisitions in financial services – banking, mortgage banking and insurance – and on various structured financing in manufacturing, telecommunications and e-commerce, commercial real estate, agriculture, healthcare and education. The firm continuously works with their clients providing them financing solutions which aid their objectives in meeting the strategic goals of their respective stakeholders. These include governments for which the firm has raised capital (through bonds) to fund various developmental initiatives. Between 2015 and date, Eczellon has been involved in over $300million debt capital market issues, in lead/active roles. The firm has also assisted on public-private-partnership (PPP) initiatives and other special project development and implementation. In 2017, Eczellon closed the first Private Bond issue of circa $90million to fund a PPP initiative for Environment Solutions in one of the States of Nigeria, a transaction which received an award of the FMDQ OTC Exchange for Sustainable Finance in the Debt Capital Market.
