Barış Öney, Founder and Managing Partner of Globalturk Capital, brings over 30 years of international experience in investment management, private equity, and M&A. He has led and advised on more than 300 cross-border transactions exceeding USD 5 billion in value.
Through Globalturk Capital, with offices in London and Istanbul, he provides strategic M&A advisory services across Türkiye, Europe, the UK, the US, and emerging markets. Previously, he held senior roles at Deloitte, Yapı Kredi Yatırım, TSKB, and Turkcell Group, contributing to landmark IPOs and privatizations.
A Fulbright Scholar, he holds degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Middle East Technical University, and actively serves on advisory boards and international industry councils.
