The start of October saw Mr Mark Carr join Hong Kong Exchange & Clearing Limited (HKEX) as Managing Director and Chief Enterprise Architect.
Carr will be working on building the Marketplace of the Future in line with HKEX’s vision to follow the groupwide technological and digital roadmap.
He is a key figure in HKEX’s technology investment strategy and will be optimizing the Group’s digital and process architecture.
Reporting to Richard Leung, HKEX Group Chief Technology Officer, Carr will be part of a team that works in the areas of Data, Security, Infrastructure and Platforms with a commitment to secure the Group’s resilient technology services.
Leung said the group was happy to welcome Carr and that the new addition accelerates the group’s commitment to innovation.
Carr was previously Chief Architect at Hong Kong Jockey Club since 2013. Previously he also worked with Credit Suisse Investment Banking and LCH Clearnet.
